What's new

- Fresh new look and feel of the whole application

- Significant improvement in map search experience. Refined town or county search, more detail, easier navigation to addresses.
- Newly opened roads are now enabled for navigation
- Navigation to addresses stored in Contacts is greatly improved by the addition of 1400 most commonly used abbreviations across 24 languages. English comes with a set of 170 abbreviations.
- Benefit from the PoliceTraps community share mobile and static speed cameras and get warnings updated in real-time. Tap the bottom part of the navigation screen to report speed cameras or incidents.
- Recent state or country is stored automatically, new destination entry is easier and non-relevant cities from various states will not pop up
- Storing actual position into History is made simple. Just tap the navigation screen and hit Memorize position
- The order of buttons is improved. It will take fewer clicks to get to buttons like History, Home, Favorite, Cancel Route and other
- Improved location display with turn instructions coming on time
- New Chinese instruction voices added (Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese), Chinese user interface languages (Traditional and Simplified) and Chinese text input (Zhu Yin and Pin Yin)

You can report speed cameras or road incidents either by using anonymous account or you can register on policetraps.com. Reporting under your own account will enable you to adjust location of the trap you reported, specify its exact category and vote for traps reported by other users. In short future, we will add karma to your account. Your karma will grow the more traps you report and the more other users will positively vote for the traps you reported. This way the community will be able to distinguish good contributors and in return, good contributors will have stronger impact.
